Advanced Aesthetic Academy logo by Dr Sam Lam

As part of my mission to teach, I created this academy with a physician with whom I no longer work so this academy never really took off.  Nevertheless, I created a logo for it that I thought was befitting.  Using multiple curved stripes and the dot, the imagery subtly but obviously reflects the AAA acronym of Advanced Aesthetic Academy.  Fortunately, I have found many other teaching venues to satisfy my desire to educate.  I still enjoyed designing the logo.

I came up with the name luminaire when reading a book on lighting, as luminaire is the name for theatrical lighting.  I thought it carried a French flaire, had a nice theatrical (pardon my pun) sound that also reflected the lasers used and also was alliterative.  The curved lines are reflective of the light beams emanating outward.  The purple blue seemed to fit well for my concept.  Again, I lack an ability to discuss color with professorial authority, as most of my work falls within the realm of the intuitive rather than the schooled.
